The Super Bowl XLVII's halftime show was headlined by Beyoncé with Destiny's Child performing as featured artists. It was Destiny's Child first performance together since their 2005 farewell concert. It was held at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on February 3, 2013.

It was revealed on October 2012, Beyoncé would perform at the Super Bowl XLVII's halftime show and rumours started spreading that Destiny's Child would join her on-stage to perform old hits. Rumours became even bigger when Beyoncé revealed Destiny's Child would release new music.
The rumours were finally confirmed at the Super Bowl when Kelly and Michelle appeared to join Knowles on-stage.
